Rules

In CoastSMP  we want a fair gameplay which everyone prefers, and if anyone is caught breaking one of these rules they will be punished accordingly.

Discord Rules :

• Follow Discord's Terms of Service. Terms of Service.
• Respect staff and users, avoid unnecessary pings.
• Keep conversations appropriate; no NSFW or controversial topics.
• No offensive jokes about race, gender, or sexuality.
• Zero tolerance for discrimination or hate speech. 
• Do not share external links, even in DMs.
• Avoid spamming or flooding chat.
• No scamming or trolling; immediate action will be taken.
• Protect personal information; don't share yours or others.
• Use respectful usernames, avatars, and status. 
• Serious threats like DDoS or DoX will be addressed seriously. 
• Punishment avoidance is not allowed.  

Minecraft Rules :

• Unfair advantages are prohibited. 
• Spamming is not allowed. 
• Disrespecting staffs/owner is a punishable offense. 
• No discrimination, racism or hate speech.
• Respect staff and users, avoid unnecessary pings.
• No advertising.
• Bug abusing is not allowed. 
• Actions leading to server crashing, lagging, or attempted nuking are prohibited. 
• Inappropriate skins or names are not permitted. 
• Punishment evading is not allowed.
• Don't make jokes about another users(s) racial, sexual, or gender identity.
• Toxic behavior will result in consequences. 
• Only the Marlow optimizer is allowed. 
• Using hack clients is strictly forbidden.  
• Only use ENGLISH on global chat. 

VOICE CHAT RULES :

• Repeated targeting, name-calling, or following someone around to provoke/bully them counts as harassment - even if the target has a bad history.
• No swearing in voice chats. Light swears like “wtf” are allowed, but don’t take it too far.
• If found streaming another server in Voice Chat you will be timed out, as that is considered advertising.
• Keep it appropriate NSFW, racist, or offensive content is strictly prohibited.
• Treat everyone with respect. Harassment, slurs, or toxic behavior will not be tolerated.
• Avoid loud noises, soundboards, screaming, or earrape.
• Use common sense! If it ruins the experience for others, don’t do it.
• No advertising or self-promo in voice chats.
• No soundboard trolling in voice chats.

Survival :

• Griefing - You cannot grief or steal in/around claims. 
• Griefing overall isn’t allowed, whether the base is claimed or not.
• TP Trapping  - Luring players with /tpa to kill them is not allowed. 
• PvP Abuse  - Using lava, mobs, or mechanics to kill people with PvP off is not allowed. 
• Spawn Griefing / Lag Machines  - Lava casts, boats, water cubes, and excessive block spam at spawn are banned. 
• Mass Terrain Damage  - Don’t destroy massive areas with no purpose. 
• Portal Trapping / Bedrock Breaking  - These are not allowed under any condition. 
• Claim Circumvention  - Don’t steal from or grief builds around other players' land.
• Safari Nets - Using Safari nets and placing them near other player's claim is not allowed.
• Chunk loaders - Chunk loaders are not allowed, if found it will be deleted and the player will be punished accordingly.
• Advertising - Advertising other server's IPs is not allowed. Even saying things like ‘Guys, I made a new server’ is considered advertising, as it may lead to players asking you for the IP. 
• Minimaps - Mods like minimaps are banned from the server. If you are found using them, actions will be taken.
• Free place - Using Free Place or Easy Place from Litematica, or any printer type mods that place blocks automatically, is not allowed.
• Excessive Begging – Constantly requesting free items, including ranks or crate keys, from other players is prohibited.
• Cannons - Cannons of any kind are not allowed (e.g., orbital, dog, or cat cannons).
• Inappropriate Content - Inappropriate books, messages, or builds are strictly prohibited. If found, you will be permanently banned.
• Mega Farms - Farms that cause lag will be removed, and the player responsible will be punished accordingly.
